Factory Certified Training School
The Amano Pioneer Eclipse Training School offers two comprehensive courses that cover a variety of service related subjects. Our courses are designed to provide the student with a working knowledge of Amano Pioneer Eclipse floor care maintenance equipment. Courses are taught by expert mechanics from our Technical Services Group, Machine Service Department and Machine R&D.

Course 1 – The Propane Class
This class begins with a basic four-cycle engine theory and expands into performing tune-ups, regulator fuel systems, engine teardowns, rebuilding, adjustments, special tools, and more.

Course 2 – The Electric & Battery Class
This class begins with the basic electrical theory and expands into troubleshooting, maintenance, testing and repair of electrical components.

Where is the school held?
At the Amano Pioneer Eclipse Factory Training Center, Sparta, North Carolina. Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Alleghany County, it presents some of the most beautiful scenery to be seen in
the country.

Who can attend?
Anyone who is involved with servicing and repair of Amano Pioneer Eclipse equipment. An Amano Pioneer Eclipse Authorized Distributor or Repair Center can sponsor any individual that they feel will benefit from the instruction. Classes will be limited to the first 10 students enrolled.

What is the cost?
$400 for the five day Propane School
$325 for the four day Electrical School

Shineology University "SHINE-U"  (Back to Top)
Amano Pioneer Eclipse's Shineology University provides a curriculum focused on teaching product knowledge, providing hands-on experience with quality professionals, and specific how-to-sell floor care program techniques. This 3-day program combines intensive classroom study and hands-on equipment and chemical product experience all while providing ample opportunity to learn from other class participants. Classes are limited to a maximum of 15 students in order to provide a setting with specialized, individualized training.

Held at both the Amano Pioneer Eclipse Factory Training Center and the Amano Pioneer Eclipse manufacturing facility located in Sparta, North Carolina, Shine-U covers techniques for authorized Amano Pioneer Eclipse Distributors. It includes an extensive and informative tour of our modern manufacturing facility.

Propane Operator Certification Program  (Back to Top)
Operating the propane burnisher requires compliance with certain safety regulations, particularly NFPA #58, the National Fire Protection Association Standard for the storage and handling of liquefied propane gas. NFPA #58 requires that as of January 1, 1993, all personnel employed in the handling of propane gas are to be trained in its proper handling and operating procedures. It also requires them to carry a written certification from their employer or training supervisor to attest to such training. NFPA is a non-profit organization that was established in 1896 to create fire protection standards. Today, it is nationally recognized as the final authority in fire safety related matters. In fact NFPA #58 regulations have been adopted by virtually all municipalities and stand as the basis for the propane gas safety regulations (see appendix #1 NFPA 58).

In response to NFPA #58 as well as other regulatory standards governing the design, manufacture, and use of propane powered equipment, Amano Pioneer Eclipse has developed a certification program for operators of propane powered Floor Machines.

Amano Pioneer Eclipse, working with an international conglomerate of authorized distributors and repair centers, offers this instructor guided video operator certification program to anyone using a propane powered floor machine. Special discounts are available to end-users who purchase an Amano Pioneer Eclipse propane floor care machine.
