The Hard Floor Maintenance cycle from Amano Pioneer Eclipse®
Maintain any hard floor surface with a system that prescribes the right amount of treatment. The PowerStar Concrete Maintenance System consists of four different programs - Daily Maintenance, Periodic Maintenance, Light Restoration and Full Restoration. These Programs form a cycle of floor treatments that make up the Concrete Maintenance System. Each program includes processes that are more aggressive than the previous program in the cycle.
Daily Maintenance
Daily maintenance performed on polished concrete floors maintains vigilance over dirt and other surface contaminants.
Processes in Daily Maintenance:

• Burnishing (Optional)

Periodic Maintenance
Periodic Maintenance performed on polished concrete floors removes embedded dirt and
contaminants. This discipline uses diamond polishing pads to maintain the surface shine.

Full restoration improves the floors resistance to wear and
degradation and facilitates the effects of Daily and
Periodic Maintenance while protecting the floor from
future stains and water absorption.

Light restoration performed on polished concrete
floors restores the surface shine by using more
aggressive polishing pads removing mild surface abrasions.
Top Shield is added to protect and improve floor gloss.

When unable to achieve an acceptable level of gloss move to next level.
From non-aggressive floor treatment (Daily Maintenance) to vigorous floor resurfacing (Full Restoration) the goal of each program is to restore the floor to an acceptable level of gloss. The frequency required for each
Program varies from one project to the next. Program frequency is dependent on many factors including floor traffic, initial floor hardness, amount of wear on the floor surface and desired level of gloss.
